National cuisine of Sri Lanka
The cuisine on the island is quite varied. Many hotels serve traditional European and Asian food. Meals in hotels mainly include: breakfast (BB), half board (HB), some hotels provide all-inclusive meals.
Seafood
If you decide to experience all the delights of local cuisine, we recommend trying a variety of seafood dishes. Product prices are very low; one large portion of premium quality seafood can cost from 40 to 60 USD.
Dairy kitchen
Dairy products are very tasty and varied; it is recommended to buy them exclusively in stores. Hotels, hotels and restaurants offer children's menus. At your request, they can always prepare any delicacy for you, even fried ice cream.

Local alcohol
- Local alcohol - Arak tastes like cognac, but it is the same vodka.
- Liquor in Sri Lanka is sold in all shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. The alcoholic range is represented by various types of beer, wine, gin, cognac, arak, etc.
- It is prohibited to consume alcoholic beverages in public places only on full moon days - Poya Day - however, the ban does not apply in private apartments.
